In an emergency

If your pet has a problem during surgery hours, please telephone the practice immediately and we will ensure that you are offered an appointment on a priority basis.

Please make it clear that the matter is not routine and required immediate attention and we will do our utmost to see you at the earliest opportunity

If your pet is in need of emergency treatment outside normal surgery hours, please telephone us and listen to any message carefully and follow the information provided

24 Hour Emergency Service (out of hours)

Please call our normal number for any emergency out of our normal hours, 0151 423 1388, and you will be connected to our Emergency Service, ER Emergency Veterinary Centre, 86 Orford Avenue, Warrington.  They can also be contacted direct on 01925 631212

If you need a vet outside our normal consultation hours. The out of hour's surgery is fully equipped and a veterinary surgeon is on the premises throughout the "out of hours" time. You can be assured that pets that have been hospitalised are regularly checked.

It may be a good idea to keep this section handy as the following directions will help you to find the ER Surgery, which is based in Rees and Reeves Warrington Surgery, if you need to get there quickly.

From M62
Leave the M62 at junction 9 (Winwick); take the A49 Winwick Road towards Warrington. Go straight ahead at the first and second roundabouts. At the traffic light junction (McDonalds and Matalan), turn left into Longford Street. At the end turn left and then take the third left into Orford Avenue. The Veterinary practice is on the left before the bend.

From Widnes / surrounding areas
Take the A57 towards Warrington and follow signs for Warrington Hospital. At the large roundabout turn left into Lovely Lane. Pass the hospital & continue straight ahead until you reach the traffic light junction (McDonalds and Matalan). Go straight ahead on Longford Street. Turn left at the top and then take the third left into Orford Avenue. The Veterinary practice is on the left before the bend.
