Opening times and
consultations
Our opening times are as
follows:-
- Monday - Friday 8.00am to
6.30pm
- Saturday 9.00am to 12.00pm
Outside these times we have a 24
hour emergency service which is available by calling our normal
number 0151 423 1388 and following the instructions given (see our
'In an Emergency' section for what to do and where to go in an
Emergency outside our opening times)
Veterinary Surgeons
appointments/consultations are for 10 minutes. If you need the
veterinary surgeon to see more than one animal or you have a
number of topics to discuss, the receptionist will be pleased to
give you a longer appointment.
Nurse Clinic consultations
vary from between 10 minutes and half an hour depending on the
nature of the clinic.
Home visits can be
arranged but incur additional costs. If you need this service,
please speak to reception. They will be able to tell you in
advance what the costs will be which is in addition to our normal
consultation fee.
Repeat prescriptions - We
will need to re-examine your pet every 3-6 months depending on the
condition if we are to issue repeat prescriptions. This is a legal
requirement. Please give 24 hours notice for any repeat
prescription requests. A telephone answer phone service is
available on our normal number, 0151 423 1388, by pressing option
1 to order your repeat prescription.
