James joined the Andale Family in October 2020, after working in various practices for 3 years covering out of hours and referral practices. He has a keen interest in laboratory, imaging and wildlife rehabilitation. James studied Zoology and Herpetology at Bangor University, in North wales. Which led to working with returning injured animals back to the wild in tropical countries.
In his spare time, he likes baking, gardening, travelling and animal photography. At home James has a very bouncy springer spaniel called Poppy, who doesn’t know the meaning of slow down and tries to play fetch with the Koi carp. He also has some poison arrow dart frogs.
James is a Volunteer for the Bat conservation Trust and assists in their national Bat Monitoring Programme, where he undertakes surveys of the local bat populations.
James has always wanted to work with animals and loves caring for all our patients. He looks forward to completing his training to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse and being the best nurse he can be for our patients.
